Locals District Festival is all set to make a comeback with its 4th edition, which will be hosted at the grand palatial heritage property of Ram Bihari Palace in Alwar.

The festival will start from today and continue till November 13.As per the news reports, the festival will host over 40 artists from different parts of the country, as well as from across the world. With all things techno, here’s all that you need to know about Locals District Festival.

IRCTC flags off first-ever Swadesh Darshan special train from Kolkata

IRCTC has recently flagged off its much-awaited and maiden ‘Swadesh Darshan’ tourist train from Kolkata station. This initiative has been taken by the Indian Railways to promote religious tourism in the country.

This pilgrimage special train, ‘Jyotirlinga Tourist Train-Swadesh Darshan’, will be taking tourists around various jyotirlinga (Lord Shiva) temples across the country. This new avatar of the religious train will be covering popular religious destinations like Omkareshwar, Ujjain, Dwarka, the Statue of Unity, Somnath, Nageshwar, Trimbakeshwar, Shirdi, and Shani-Singapur. Reportedly, a train to Southern states will also be launched from Kolkata on January 4, whereas another train will go to Bhutan and the Northeastern states on March 23.

Odisha: Simlipal National Park is now open to tourists

As per the latest reports, the Simlipal National Park in Odisha’s Mayurbhanj district is now open for tourists. After remaining closed for around five months due to the monsoon, the authorities opened the doors of the park to the public.

Spread over 2750 sq km, Simlipal National Park is one of the largest tiger reserves in India, and serves as the home to a number of wildlife species. Apart from numerous wildlife species, Simlipal National Park is also dotted with a wide variety of flora and fauna, lush greenery, and breathtaking waterfalls, the field director added, which makes for a thrilling trip.
