October 8 is officially National Salmon Day, a day celebrated to honor the buttery, delicious fish that’s a favorite among seafood lovers around the world.
Salmon is also one of the seafood with the least environmental impact. Our columnist Zahir Meher-Homji shares the recipe for ‘Home Cooked Salmon’, that’s easy to make, healthy yet delicious, and has a perfect immunity-boosting dinner, which can be home-cooked easily.

Ingredients:

Salmon fillets
Soy sauce
Sesame oil
Chopped chili
Chopped Shallots
Chopped Ginger
Sliced of Lemon
Chopped Coriander

Method:

Place Salmon in a baking tray on baking paper.
Combine oil, soy sauce, and chopped ingredients and pour this over the salmon. Place the sliced lemon on the filets.
Fold the baking paper over salmon.
Cover baking tray with Aluminum foil.
Place in preheated oven at 180deg for 20 min.
Open the paper parcels. Garnish with coriander and fried crispy noodles.
