A historic landmark in the Livermore Valley, Wente Vineyard offers wine tasting experiences in caves, barrel room, or shaded patios. Explore the historic sandstone caves for a special underground wine tasting and learn about the history of Wente’s longstanding family-owned operations in this unique setting. The Blackhawk Museum is known for its extensive auto gallery, featuring one-of-a-kind productions and historically significant instalments. The museum is also home to several cultural exhibits including, The Spirit of the Old West, Into China and Art of Africa. Docent-guided tours of the auto gallery are included with admission every Saturday and Sunday at 2 pm, as well as the first Friday of the month at 2 pm, while Spirit of the Old West tours are held the second Saturday of each month at 1:30 pm.

Ruby Hill’s Mello Cielo Bus

Hop on board the Mello Cielo, Ruby Hill’s fully customised wine bus, complete with wine barrel seats and vintage-inspired décor that offers a comprehensive excursion through their vineyards and production facility. This vino-centric two-hour tour, led by a private tour captain, includes a flight of wine as well as a sit-down food pairing.

Free tours led by costumed docents are offered to the public on the second and fourth Sundays each month except for the last week of December.

Established in 1881, Olivina Ranch is a family-owned, 70-acre ranch producing true California extra olive oil from olives grown, harvested, milled and bottled on this historic estate. Olivina Ranch grows six different olive varietals: Mission, Arbequina, Lucca, Frantoio, Picholine, and Century Mission trees. Several local restaurants use this locally produced delicacy, while multiple retail locations carry it in stock. Visitors can visit Olivina for tastings and tours every third Sunday of the month from noon to 4:30 pm. Make sure to take home a bottle of their fine olive oil for your kitchen, to continue to experience the flavours and memories of Tri-Valley’s Livermore Valley Wine Country long after your visit.
