Planning a trip to Indonesia? Get your visa faster as Indians can now access fast-track visa-on-arrival

Getting a visa for Indonesia has become much easier and quicker for Indians as VFS Global has introduced a fast-track visa-on-arrival facility for Indians. VFS released a statement that said, “Nationals of the 75 eligible countries can apply for their Indonesia visa on arrival through VFS Global by submitting their documents and paying the fees online at www.indonesiavoa.vfsevisa.id prior to their travel. A confirmation will be sent to their registered email ID and the visa, processed in advance, will be stamped upon arrival. With the payment having been made online, the on-arrival process reduces to just the stamping of the visa, which can be done at the designated fast-track Visa on Arrival immigration lanes”.

The moment you reach Jakarta, visit the fast-track lane and show the officers your confirmation email. After checking the documents, you’ll get your visa stamped!

Hong Kong to offer 500,000 free air tickets to lure tourists!

Hong Kong recently announced that it is planning to give away 500,000 airline tickets to global visitors in a bid to boost tourism.

As reported earlier, Hong Kong had some of the world’s toughest quarantine rules as it followed China’s ‘zero-Covid’ policies. However, the city announced last month that people arriving in the city would no longer be required to undergo hotel quarantine or provide a negative COVID test before boarding a flight to Hong Kong. The spokesperson further added that back in 2020, AAHK purchased around 500,000 air tickets in advance from the territory’s home-based airlines as part of a relief package to support the aviation industry. He further added that the purchase serves the purpose of injecting liquidity into the airline’s upfront, while the tickets will be given away to global visitors and Hong Kong residents in the market recovery campaign.
