World’s longest glass-bottomed bridge opened in Vietnam, Jet Airways takes to skies again after 3-Year gap and more in top stories of the day.

World’s longest glass-bottomed bridge opened in Vietnam

Touted to be the longest in the world, Vietnam opens 2,000 ft. glass-bottomed bridge to tourists. The Bach Long bridge meaning ‘the white dragon’ connects two mountains and hangs over a lush green valley in Vietnam’s Northwest Son La Province. The white pedestrian bridge is said to be made of three layers of 40mm thick French-produced tempered glass that can support up to 450 people at a time who can enjoy the views of the green gorge below. The Bach Long bridge surpasses a 526-metre long bridge in Guangdong, China. This bridge will serve as a major tourist attraction boosting the Vietnamese tourism industry.

Emirates lands in Bali for the first time since 2020

Welcomed with water cannons, and the traditional joged bumbung dance performance, unique to Bali’s culture, an Emriates flight crew landed at Bali airport for the first time in almost two years. Jet Airways Takes To Skies Again After 3-Year Gap

Jet Airways took to the skies again on Thursday after a gap of three years and conducted its test flight to and from the Hyderabad airport in a step towards obtaining the air operator certificate. The airline’s CEO Sanjiv Kapoor said “The aircraft will position to Delhi this evening. Proving flight to be scheduled in the coming days from Delhi,” Jet Airways, which has not flown since 17 April, 2019, is currently in the process of re-launching operations under its new promoters Jalan-Kalrock Consortium.
