India scraps Air Suvidha form filling for international arrivals
As per the latest development, it has been decided to lift the mandate of filling up the Air Suvidha form for all international passengers.
Air Suvidha is an online system that was put into place for International passengers to submit a mandatory ‘Self Declaration’ form to declare their current health status. This form was made mandatory, whereas all international passengers entering the country via flights were required to fill it before boarding. So with this latest development, iInternational travellers entering India will no longer be required to fill up the said self-declaration form, called Air Suvidha, for COVID-19 related screening of passengers. Also, passengers will not be required to submit a negative COVID-19 RT-PCR report.
Integrated Tourist Pass to come soon to Kolkata
Exploring Kolkata will soon get easier, for the city is planning to introduce Integrated Tourist Pass – single-ticket entry provision for multiple tourist spots. This means, no more waiting in line for tickets!
Tourist attractions including the Victoria Memorial, Indian Museum, Science City, Nicco Park, Alipore Zoo to name a few, will be included. For now, the tourism department has collaborated with more than 30 popular tourist attractions in Kolkata. At present, the integrated pass is still in the making, and once it is ready, it will be made available online (app-based) and also over-the-counter at designated venues. To make the experience more convenient and less confusing, various attractions will be clubbed together. Every zone will have its own set of attractions clubbed together.
