Ladakh gets its first bungee jumping experience, Jammu and Kashmir tourism has launched adventure paragliding in Srinagar and more in top stories of the day.

Astanmarg, Srinagar’s new paragliding adventure destination

Jammu and Kashmir tourism department, in association with a private paragliding firm, has launched adventure paragliding in Srinagar’s Astanmarg. Located on the outskirts of Srinagar, approximately 27.5 km from the city centre, Astanmarg is a lush green meadow on the Zabarwaan range. The paragliding will begin from Astanmarg with stunning views of the valley down below, which includes the snow covered mountain ranges, Dal Lake, Dachigam National Park, Mahadev Peak and Mughal Gardens. The landing spot is Chandpora, located at about 5330 ft, in Srinagar.

Ladakh gets world’s highest ‘Bungee jumping’

Touted as the world’s highest bungee jumping, Tsogtsi village in Ladakh now offers travellers the chance to take in a new perspective of the Trans-Himalayan region. Located about 35km from Leh and set on a cliff above River Zanskar, Tsogsti is remote and beautiful. This experience is first of its kind in the union territory, and was flagged off on 22 May 2022.

3 Helicopter Services introduced in Goa

Boosting tourism in the hinterlands, the Goan administration has partnered with Blade India to introduce three helicopter services. This will connect tourists and residents by helicopter transport across the airport, North, South and Old Goa. Journeying from a height will award people with the picturesque Goa scenery that will enhance their travel experience.
