The National Basketball Association (NBA), in collaboration with Budweiser, is set to debut the inaugural BUDX NBA House in India — a dynamic fan-centric experience blending basketball, music, and lifestyle culture. This unique two-day event is scheduled for Saturday, June 7, and Sunday, June 8, at the DOME, SVP Stadium in Mumbai.
Coinciding with the excitement of the 2025 NBA Finals, the event will showcase a wide range of basketball-inspired attractions, including live performances, interactive games, and opportunities to meet NBA legends. Five-time NBA champion Derek Fisher and Naismith Basketball Hall of Famer Gary Payton will headline the lineup of special guests. Attendees can also enjoy photo ops with the iconic Larry O’Brien Trophy and be entertained by the Sacramento Kings’ mascot Slamson, their dance squad, and the team’s high-flying dunk unit.

Rajah Chaudhry, Head of Strategy for NBA Asia and Country Head of NBA India, expressed his enthusiasm: “BUDX NBA House is designed as a vibrant gathering spot for Indian fans to unite in their passion for basketball. It arrives at a moment when the sport is experiencing tremendous growth and excitement across the country.”
Vineet Sharma, Vice President of Marketing and Trade Marketing at AB InBev India, commented on the partnership: “Budweiser is committed to leading the way in shaping cultural experiences, and teaming up with the NBA to bring BUDX NBA House to India reinforces our vision. We aim to deliver memorable events that fuse the worlds of sports, music, and culture — experiences that resonate with India’s youth and redefine engagement.”
Jackie Ennis, Vice President of Global Trade Development at Brand USA, added, “Basketball, music, and culture are fundamental to American identity. Through our support of BUDX NBA House, we’re thrilled to connect with Indian audiences and spark interest in the USA’s rich sports culture and travel experiences.”
Caroline Beteta, President and CEO of Visit California, noted, “California, home to the most NBA franchises of any U.S. state and known for its deep-rooted basketball culture, is proud to be part of this first-ever BUDX NBA House in India. We’re excited to bring the Golden State’s energetic spirit to Indian fans.”

District by Zomato will produce and manage ticketing for BUDX NBA House. Alongside Budweiser, event partners include Brand USA, Emirates, and Visit California. Tickets are now available [HERE], and further details on programming and brand activations will be announced shortly.
This Indian edition follows successful NBA House events previously hosted in Brazil, Canada, France, Mexico, the United States, and the United Kingdom.
