JNTO invites Indian audiences to step into Japan’s seasons, culture, and anime spirit at the two-day festival in New Delhi.
The Japan National Tourism Organization (JNTO), Delhi Office, has announced its participation in “Mela Mela! Anime Japan!!” 2025, a two-day festival dedicated to Japanese anime, culture, and tourism promotion. The event will take place on September 13 and 14, 2025, at Pacific Mall, Tagore Garden, New Delhi, and will be open to the public with free entry.
This year’s participation is part of Japan Month (September–October 2025), an initiative designed to deepen cultural and tourism ties between India and Japan. The 2025 edition follows the remarkable success of Mela Mela! Anime Japan!! 2024, which attracted nearly 50,000 visitors and saw enthusiastic crowds engaging in anime showcases, cosplay competitions, and travel promotions centered on Japan.
Bringing Japan Closer to Indian Audiences
With its renewed presence, JNTO aims to highlight why Japan continues to be one of the most desirable destinations for Indian travellers. The organization’s booth at the event will feature a mix of travel inspiration and interactive experiences designed for families, anime enthusiasts, and aspiring travellers alike.
Highlights at the JNTO booth include:
- Japan Travel Inspiration: Detailed information on seasonal attractions such as Cherry Blossoms in spring, vibrant summer festivals, autumn foliage, and winter snowscapes, along with practical tips for planning a trip.
- Photo Booth Experience: A digital activity where visitors can virtually “step into Japan” by taking photos with immersive Japanese backdrops. Guests can take home instant photo prints, making this one of the most engaging attractions of the JNTO booth.
