Bengaluru: Kempegowda International Airport’s T2 to operate all international flights from August 31

Important news for all international and domestic flyers flying to and from Bengaluru, Karnataka. From August 31, 2023, 10:45 AM onwards, the T1 of the Kempegowda International Airport (KIA) will only cater to domestic flights. All international flight operations will be shifted to Terminal 2 or T2.

To start off this process, Singapore Airlines SQ 508 will be the first international flight to land at Bengaluru’s Kempegowda International Airport on August 31. The first flight to Terminal 2 will be from the Changi International Airport.

Terminal 2 or T2, was inaugurated by Prime Minister Narendra Modi on November 11, 2022. The terminal became operational on January 15 of this year. As of now, Terminal 2 only caters to domestic flights.
