VIDEO: ANAMALAI TIGER RESERVE | TAMIL NADU TOURISM

An enchanting melange of wildlife thrives in the tropical verdure of the Anamalai Tiger Reserve. Sitting atop the Anamalai hills of Valparai and Pollachi taluks, its vegetation constitutes over 8000 species of flora. Pointing binoculars towards the rustling leaves could reveal peeking lion tailed macaques, one of the rarest primates in the world, as well as over 250 species of feathered creatures. Also expect to bump into great Asian elephants, spotted deers, crowned sambars as well as fierce tigers and leopards on a visit to their home turf.
