Intra-city helicopter service to start soon in Bengaluru
Bangalore will soon have intra-city helicopter service. A BLADE India initiative, this intra-city helicopter service will make the lives of many travellers commuting to and from Bangalore International Airport easier, especially from the IT hub – Hosur.
From the airport, one will be able to take the morning flight (and evening flight for those taking the service from Hosur) to their destination in the south of the city. This is a big one, given the fact that it takes up to three hours on the road for someone travelling from South to North or vice versa. With this heli service, the total commute time will be under 20 minutes! The morning flights will be from 8:45 AM to 10:30 AM, and the return trip will be between 3:45 PM to 5 PM. The cost of the ticket per person will be INR 6000.
Rajasthan’s first cruise service likely start from March
If all goes as planned, Rajasthan’s first cruise will likely start ferrying tourists on Ajmer’s Ana Sagar lake from March. This will further add another attraction to the district, which is already famous for the shrine of Sufi saint Khwaja Moinuddin Chisti and Brahma temple.
Once the cruise starts operation, people will also be able to host small functions and parties on it, apart from enjoying a ride on the double-decker cruise. The surrounding area of the lake has also been developed with works like pathways, eateries, and more, which is already witnessing a huge tourist footfall.
Uttar Pradesh to host 4-day Hot Air Balloon and Boat Racing Festival from January 17
Uttar Pradesh is all set to host the Hot Air Ballooning and Boat Racing Festival this month. Referring to this, the UP Tourism department recently released the logos of four-day International Hot Air Ballooning and Boat Racing festival. The festival will be held at Varanasi from January 17.
Reportedly, mapping of a 3 km stretch of river Ganga, between Dashashwamedh and Namo ghats had been done for the boat race, which will be taking place between January 17 and 20. As a part of the Hot Air Ballooning Fest which is all set to be held from January 17 to 20, morning flights, tethered flight, and night glows will be organised for the visitors to enjoy.
