Chennai Centre is all geared up to host the grand Dinosaur Festival from 10th to 19th June, 2022, After a two-year hiatus, Sydney’s Vivid festival of lights returns to run for three weeks until 18 June, Singapore will set the stage for an epic night race for Formula 1 in October 2022 and more in top stories of the day.

Vivid festival is back and brighter than ever in Sydney

Vivid Sydney is back after a two-year hiatus due to Covid-19, and this year’s event is expected to attract millions of visitors. The 23-night show is one of the largest light festivals in the world. In a fireworks-fuelled opening event on Friday, the city was bathed in colour thanks to 200 beams crisscrossing the sky, 21 significant buildings being lit up, and around 50 light installations.
Some of this year’s highlights include a former rail tunnel that’s become the largest laser installation in the festival’s history. Visitors will also find the largest liquid light show ever performed in Australia. A series of 48 water cannons out on Darling Harbour will throw nine tonnes of water in the air each second, all lit by thousands of lights and timed to music.

Chennai to host much-awaited Dinosaur Festival in June

Chennai Centre is all geared up to host the grand Dinosaur Festival from 10th to 19th June, 2022. This is a Dinosaur Festival India initiative. The Dinosaur Fest Chennai will be a world class dinosaur exhibition where visitors will get to experience the Jurassic world. The visitors will not only get to see life-size replicas of the prehistoric animals, but will also get to learn a lot of things about the kinds of dinosaurs that once roamed India more than 65 million years ago. There will be animatronic dinosaur species that once lived in India more than 65 million years ago. Some of them are Isisaurus, Rajasaurus and Bruhathkayosaurus.

Green Day and Westlife to headline the 2022 Singapore Grand Prix

After a two-year hiatus owing to the COVID-19 pandemic, the F1 Grand Prix 2022 is set to hit Singapore’s Marina Bay Street Circuit and is slated to take place from 30 September – 2 October 2022. In addition to the biggest racing stars and the fastest cars on the planet set to do battle in the city, the stage is also set for a blockbuster weekend of entertainment. Like previous years events, there will be a number of exciting performances and concerts being held throughout the race weekend. This year fans will get to see acts such as Marshmello, Westlife and Green Day headlining the 2022 Singapore Grand Prix. According to the organisers, the final line-up will include more than 75 performances over the three-day event across eight stages in the Circuit Park, together with roaming performers as well as an array of displays and activities to enthral crowds.
